- Confirm the item you purchased is returnable and email us at info@avulux.com with your order number and a reason for the return or exchange.
- We'll review your return or exchange request for approval (normally within 1 business day).
- We'll send you instructions on how to ship your glasses back.
Refunds
We offer a generous 60 day return window so you can confirm you're happy with Avulux lenses.
We offer a generous 60 day return window. Returns must be shipped back to us within 60 days of the shipment date.
Any returns we receive that are shipped outside the 60 day window will be returned or donated.
The return window only applies to non-prescription/non-custom orders (e.g. Avulux frames containing non-prescription, hardcoat only lenses).
A flat $10 domestic return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
While uncommon, if your return is not in original condition (if there is damage to the lenses or frame, like scratches or frame distortion), a restock fee will be deducted from your refund as follows:
- USD $30 for scratched/damaged frames
- USD $50 for scratched/damaged lenses
- USD $75 for scratched/damaged lenses and frame
Note: All Avulux glasses are inspected using a strong light source prior to being shipped to customers. Upon receiving returns, lenses and frames are again inspected using a strong light source to identify any damage. To avoid surprises, you may inspect the item you intend to return for damage using a strong light source while holding the lenses and frames in front of this light source.
If you have any questions, or believe you received a damaged or defective item, please reach out to us within 5 days from the date of delivery.
We'll issue a refund to your original payment method within 5-10 days after receiving and inspecting your return, your refund should show on your original payment method statement within 7-14 days.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
For fees/duties/VAT/or additional taxes that we did not collect, we can provide you documentation to request a duty/tax refund from your local government authority, if applicable. We do not reimburse nor refund any brokerage or international courier fees.

- Uncut lenses
- Avulux lenses or glasses not purchased from Avulux directly.
NOTE: Consider purchasing a returnable Avulux frame with non-prescription/non-custom lenses to confirm you're happy with the Avulux lenses prior to making a custom order.
Exchanges
We offer free and simple exchanges in the USA.
To request an exchange, please go through the domestic return process above.
We'll send you a return label at no additional cost and you'll receive a store credit via email (in the form of a gift card) once we receive your return, so that you may apply it to your exchange purchase on our website.
Please confirm the returned item is in its original condition and packaging.
To request an exchange, please go through the regular international return process above. We will send you instructions for return shipping and we will issue you a store credit to apply to your new purchase once we receive and inspect your return.

Product, Shipping & Delivery Issues
We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, such as one that has scratched lenses or a lens that our team would identify as defective).
If you receive a defective item, we will exchange your defective item for the same make and model item at no extra cost to you.
Please contact us within 5 days from the date of delivery to process your exchange.
Note: Shipping cost is determined based on the original shipping address on the order. If an exchange or return is requested from a country different than the one on the order, the customer may pay the difference in shipping cost to process the return or exchange.
Please confirm all shipping information is correct before submitting an order. We're unable to change a delivery address after the order has shipped. There are no returns, refunds, or cancellations allowed on orders that have shipped with invalid, incomplete, or incorrect information.
If you've caught an error, please contact our Customer Support team within 30 minutes after placing your order. We kindly ask that you give our support team time to act upon your request. We cannot guarantee address changes.

Prescription Order Issues
If there's an issue with your prescription lenses, we'll work with you to make it right.
If we've made an error in creating your prescription glasses, please reach out to us and we'll make it right.
If an incorrect or outdated prescription was provided to us during the prescription entry flow, we're able to re-process your order once at 40% of the original cost within 60 days.
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of digitally entered and uploaded prescriptions.
