Optical Industry Veteran Derek Johnson Joins Avulux As National Sales Manager

MIAMI – March 8, 2024 – Avulux today announced the appointment of Derek Johnson as National Sales Manager.

Mr. Johnson, who brings nearly a decade of experience to his role, is responsible for working with optometry clinics, helping them to add Avulux to their practice and support patients experiencing migraine and light sensitivity.

Derek plays a key role in establishing and executing on the Avulux sales strategy as the company continues to grow. He has a proven track record in the optical industry, with nearly a decade of sales experience. He was Director of Strategic Accounts and Executive Territory Manager at Neurolens, and prior to that he held progressively senior roles at IDOC, an optometric membership services organization committed to the growth of independent optometrists.
