So I was almost hoping these wouldn't work because they're pricey. But they do work. So far I've only had one migraine that required medication, I've had probably ten or twelve others that I was able to keep at bay or eliminate entirely with the glasses. The wonderful thing about them it's that I can still go outside in the sun with a headache and there's no daggers in my eyes. And there's no distortion of colors which is also awesome. The reason for the 4 stars is the fit. I have a small face and I chose the smallest style but it still slips down my nose. I'm using hair bands on the ear pieces to improve the fit but wish I had a better solution.
I have 15+ migraine days per month so I follow the recommendation to wear my avulux glasses all the time. I love them and I never want to take them off! It is hard to describe but the relief and feeling of protection they provide is so much better than normal sunglasses. Light sensitivity makes me feel so vulnerable and I feel like these glasses create a safe bubble for me. They both reduce pain during a migraine and prevent pain spikes for me. It is very easy to adjust to wearing the tinted lenses both inside and outside. I am really grateful to have found these.
I got the Avulux glasses last month. I noticed a reduction in the number of eye headaches I got in a month. The number went from 7 to 3. For me, the glasses help with the eye pain and the frontal part of the migraine, but I have not noticed any improvement yet with the pain in the back of my head and the shoulder pain that are associated with my migraines.
